Endurance, strength, power, speed, agility: ESPN rated boxing as the sport that demands the most of its participants. The upside is that it gives so much back to you! It’s hard to find a better way to get your heart rate up, with a bonus of major stress release.

Punches, knees and kicks all provide a great outlet for whatever ails you. Your body’s limits are respected as you practice techniques that draw on my extensive ring experience.

meghan-boxing-sqFirst, you’ll learn the correct stance, footwork and striking patterns. Shadowboxing prepares your body and mind for the work to come. The majority of our time together is spent on strikes, whether in certain combinations or in flurries for pure fighting fitness. Mental agility is shored up when learning combinations; some people call it “Sudoku for the body” or say they feel like they’re learning how to play chess in a very physical sense. Bursts of authentic calisthenic (bodyweight) conditioning keep your metabolism in high gear throughout. Finally, we’ll stretch out your chest and hips in particular to “re-set” so you can hit the rest of your day just as hard.

I invite you to spend some time pursuing the “sweet science” of boxing with me. You’ll leave feeling both happily tired and energized at the same time.

I’m so confident you’ll enjoy training with me that I provide a money-back guarantee: if you don’t feel satisfied for any reason, I will promptly reimburse you for the session.
